Annual Ride for Food

The Wiese Company setting out on a ride to alleviate hunger insecurity is just another example of how one good deed leads to another. When the Wiese Company donated their time and services to a much-needed renovation at A Place to Turn in Natick five years ago and then again two years ago it led to another opportunity to help those in need.

A Place to Turn asked if members of The Wiese Company would like to join A Place to Turn’s team in the Annual Ride for Food sponsored by Three Squares New England. And of course, we decided to go the extra mile and have been for three years straight.

This year Alexandra and Matt will hop on their bikes to ride 50 miles and raise money for hunger relief in the Greater Boston area. Ray is under doctor’s order to take the year off because of a recent leg injury and the ride doesn’t allow motorcycle entries!

About Three Squares New England

Since Three Squares New England’s inception in 2012 they have focused on three primary goals:

Fundraising – We have raised over $1.6 Million through The Ride for Food and The Ultimate Food Rescue Challenge. Every dollar raised makes an immediate and long-lasting impression on those struggling to put food on the table.

Building a Community – Three Squares New England empowers learning, collaboration and action to reduce hunger locally.

Raising Awareness – We address the issues of food insecurity and food waste and promote the amazing programs of our Food Partners.

Let’s make a difference together- join us in supporting this worthy cause.
